The school works in close association with the State of California Employment Development Department (EDD). ATM/Debit, credit cards, and money orders are also accepted. We do not accept Discover card or American Express.

Hacienda La Puente Adult Education (HLPAE) is a comprehensive school, serving more than 20,000 adult and high school students annually.
Once the form is completed by the student and an explanation is provided, it must be approved by the Director. When a student withdraws or is dismissed from Hacienda La Puente Adult Education, a determination of the earned and unearned portion of Title IV aid will be determined.
Once approved, the refund request form is sent to the Hacienda La Puente Unified District Office where the refund is processed. The date of withdrawal or last date attended will be used according to attendance records generated by the School’s Attendance System (ASAP).
ACCIDENT INSURANCE Student Accident Insurance is a requirement for all students enrolled in career courses containing a clinical component and other programs with a safety requirement. (July to June) PARKING is offered at selected adult education sites while parents attend adult school classes at the site. Children must be minimum 3 years old and toilet trained.

• Student must possess a High School Diploma or State issued High School Equivalency Certificate from a regionally accredited institution ( (Foreign High School Diploma must be notarized, translated and is the responsibility of the student.).
The Adult School is a pre and post-secondary institution offering entry-level and advanced courses in technology, health, business, trades and service careers.
We also offer English as a Second Language, basic academic skills, preparation for GED, high school diploma, parent education and citizenship.
